  • VENUE: The REGAL / VOGUE Cinema in LANARK, SCOTLAND (between Edinburgh and Glasgow)

  • GETTING THERE: You can get a train direct to the theatre (Lanark station) from Glasgow Central station.

Last train to Glasgow leaves Lanark station at 22.12pm.

INSIDE THE VENUE

The inside of the building has changed very little since it opened. The cinema is equipped with state of the art video projection that projects onto and fills the original cinema screen. The seating is in the circle, there being over 300 seats. This is a great opportunity to see films in probably the last art deco single screen cinema left in Scotland.

Lanark’s Regal Cinema was built opposite the railway station, in the eastern half of the ancient Royal Burgh,  on the site of an existing garage.

The cinema received the following telegram from Stan and Ollie which you will see on the night.
